Ebb Tide

A Closer Look Today

I waited for just the right time today to catch the creatures that can be seen mostly at ebb tide. First, I had to get out of the beach gate, which had been sealed shut by sand from high tide. Don and a passerby helped to get the gate open.  Don had his work cut out for him in getting it closed!

This seaweed reminded me of a Chinese dragon.

I saw some interesting seashells. Looks like the birds might have missed one of them.
For the rest of my walk, I photographed some interesting rocks and tide pool scenes. Yes, I was standing in water up to my knees. It was about 63 degrees, but not unbearably cold. (How come the house is unbearably cold at 63 degrees?)
